Last week when I was pottering around Sydney I was lucky enough to see these beautiful creations in person.

I’m not a fan of the old LV handbags these days. I used to be though, when they were ‘oh so cool’, and I considered selling parts of my body to have a collection of them. Of course… I’m talking about my kidneys. Not other parts. So young and stupid.

But these I love.

In celebration for its small goods 100th anniversary British artist Billie Achilleos received the commission for “Maroquinaris Zoologicae,” a miniature zoo full of small mammals, birds, reptiles, crustaceans, even insects, all pieced together with  wallets, purses, belts, and accessories.

It’s currently touring around the world. If you know they’re coming your way - check them out. They’re beautiful and surprising.
