Design mark-ups.
I-gotta-make-me-summa-these.
I’ve always appreciated advertising that tells-it-like-it-is… But this is on a whole different level.
Just a little something I whipped up. Don’t give me crap about things not being aligned. I like that these memes look cheep and nasty. So I kept it that way.
As you all know I am currently freelancing at different agencies around Sydney… and now I have the joy of working from home… IN MY BRAND NEW STUDY WITH A COOL WHITE GLOSS TABLE AND RED LEATHER CHAIR NEAR SOME SICK NEW SPEAKERS THAT I HAVE WITH THE SUB TURNED UP FULL BLAST ON OH MY GOD.
It may not look like much now. But hopefully it will be piling up with briefs to work on. At the moment I’m working on some logos. But happy to take on more.
If you need something done get me to do it. My new table needs some love. Of the working kind. Not anything else your disgusting little mind is thinking. You sicken me. And I love it.
Just go to www.bridgetemmerson.com to see more of my work. Or e-mail me at thecreativebridge@gmail.com
I think pole dancing lessons on my resume will land me a job. Don’t you?
If not… well, it’s an interesting change of career.
I’m joking.

Hunting for a job at the moment? Don’t worry I am too. Luckily this time around I’m prepared for it. If you’re feeling a little flustered and annoyed because you haven’t got one yet - don’t be so hard on yourself. It takes time and persistence. Just like any other hunt.
My first job hunt, I had no idea what I was doing or if I was bringing the right gear. Being ambitious, and totally stupid at the time, I wanted to catch the Grizzly Bear or Great White Shark of jobs. Glad I didn’t. If I had, it would have been by chance and it would have eaten me alive. Instead, I caught a lovely job I could handle. And got through it with all my limbs in tact.
I’m now on my 3rd job hunt. And what I’ve learnt is hunting for a job isn’t just about catching ‘the big one’ or the first one you find. It’s a sport. It takes time and learning. And going through the process of the hunt will lead you to success.
Go out, look around, and see what you like. With the skills you have, which job can you aim for? Be realistic.
Apply effort into studying the job you’re hunting. Read up on its background and behaviors. No point going after something if you don’t know anything about it. You’ll hurt yourself. And there’s no way you’ll catch it.
After that, if you’ve found something you can catch, don’t go in rushing for it. Some animals stalk their prey for days before… well you know… ‘killing it’. Take your time and make sure you’re prepared.
If, after doing all that, you take aim and miss, so what? Yes, you were SO CLOSE. But don’t beat yourself up because you missed it. The fact you got that close is awesome. Means you’re on the right track and the next job hunt you go on may just be the successful one.
And yes, don’t worry, it will be out there for you. You have a few options on how to get it.
You can go looking for it.
Sit patiently, but attentively, waiting for it.
Or you can throw some bait out to attract it to you.
Just always be on the ball.
Good luck if you’re looking and let me know about your failures or successes.
